Visit of the largest Fashion Trade Fair in SEE Region - Athens Fashion Trade Show
Held in Athens, Greece on 26 to 28 of January 2023
In organization of the Textile Trade Association – Textile cluster, representatives from North Macedonia visited one of the largest Fashion Trade Fair in SEE Region – Athens Fashion Trade Show (26-28 January 2023), in order to implement their learnings and networking skills. During the Athens Fashion Trade Show 10 participants from North Macedonia had an opportunity for the networking programme. Participants got the highest output possible within these 3 days of activities:
– Inspiration moments – visiting Benaki Museum (textile section) with a historical excursion about traditional dresses from different regions around Greece and the islands;
– Networking moment – visiting Athens Fashion Trade Show fair at the METROPOLITAN EXPO, meetings with Greek companies;
– Meeting with Fashion Schools, Athens Fashion Club;
An important part of the activity was exposure to new audience, building up the networks between fashion designers, experts, schools between Greek and Macedonian countries as well as linking the community with existing similar communities in Europe.
